In the name of Allah , all praises be to Allah, all prayers and blessings of Allah(1) be upon His Prophet.

We continue our journey visiting the people of Jannah (Paradise) which helps to awaken our conscience. The people of Jannah have the same standard of moralities of the Prophet, which is prescribed by Allah (SWT)(2) . They are characterized by their kindness, mercy, generosity, love and protection; therefore they really deserve seeing Allah in the Hereafter and the companionship of the Prophet.
Now we are walking in Jannah reaching the door of a very pious person with a clear conscience. He is the Protector.

Moralities of the People of Jannah:

The Protector is the person who does not uncover the others' flaws, whether physical, moral, news or even secrets; he never exposes anyone nor enjoys people's misfortune.
The Prophet (SAWS) (3) protected everyone around him and secured them; he never unveiled the secrets of his companions or even their imperfections.
As well, when he asked his wife Lady Zainab Bint-Jahsh about Lady Aisha when she was falsely accused of adultery, Lady Zainab answered: "I protect my hearing and my eyesight. I swear I knew nothing but good."

The Strategy of Satan

The protector is always fighting his devil who likes to expose the imperfections of others, trying to turn him into a scandalmonger, a gloater, and a flaw exposer.

The Goal of Satan

1- Exposing scandals to make people used to committing sins
2- Creating gossips that bear tales, news and secrets through all gatherings, which eventually leads to grave torture.
Man is always curious, and this must be controlled. In addition, man always wants to draw people's attention by telling news and secrets that no one else knows about. This is a hidden desire that is targeted by Satan who tries to convince man to expose the imperfections of the others while, justifying this action that it is only their reality which they themselves expose.

The Harvest of Satan

Signs of a Flaw Detector

1- Unveiling the imperfections of celebrities and strangers: This is a person who is eager to know the news of celebrities and strangers who make mistakes or have problems. He does not realize that he has a responsibility towards them. The Prophet (SAWS) says,” "Verily! Your blood, property and honour are sacred to one another (i.e. Muslims) like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours and in this city of yours.”
The honor of every person is sacred; his imperfection must not be exposed even though some people might believe that he really deserves to be humiliated. Exposing a person’s flaws will lead to obscenity.
2- Unveiling the imperfections of relatives: This means exposing their news and secrets. Scholars believe that relatives tend to expose each others' secrets to feel special and distinguished, especially that Satan hushes their consciences by giving them justifications.
3- Unveiling the imperfections of rivals and competitors: This is a person who likes to humiliate his competitors in order to draw people’s attention to him. Warning others from his competitor is his justification for what he does.

The Harvest of the Imperfection Detector

1- Whoever exposes others' imperfections will be exposed one day as the Prophet says," O you who believe with your tongue and not your hearts, do not seek after the faults of Muslims, nor pry into their mistakes or downfalls. For whoever amongst you will investigate the mistakes of Muslims, Allah will search for his mistakes, and if Allah searches for the fault of anyone, He disgraces him in his house." (narrated by Abu-Barza El-Aslamy) Thus, do not speak about anyone or reveal his secrets.
2- Whoever exposes someone will be afflicted with the same flaw, as the Prophet says that whoever blames his brother for committing a sin shall not die until he commits it (narrated by Moaz Ibn-Gabal)
3- The person who exposes scandals, uncovers flaws, reveals others' secrets and scatters slanderous rumors will be severely tortured in his grave and ruthlessly judged in Day of Judgment.

The Pharmacy of dhikr (the remembrance of Allah):

"I seek refuge in Allah fom exposing others so our secrets would be reaveled and our imperfections will be spread among people"

Change is Possible

• Principle: Remember not to expose the secrets of you brother, so Allah would save him and afflict you
• The pharmacy of dhikr (the remembrance of Allah) "I seek refuge in Allah fom exposing others so our secrets would be reaveled and our imperfections will be spread among people".
• A practical step: The rule by which Lady Zainab Bint-Jahsh, the Prophet's wife had lived with :"Protecting my hearing and my eyesight"

Jannah of the Protector

The Protector always applies the ethics of Allah who knows everything about our sins and does not expose them. The protector refuses to hear about others’ secrets, and forbids any exposing or disclosure in his attendance, because he respects Allah. Therefore, he will be surprised of what is prepared for him in Jannah the Day of Judgment, as the Prophet says, "Whoever covers (the sin of) a Muslim, Allah will cover him (his sin) in this world and in the Hereafter." (Narrated by Maslama Ibn-Mukhallad)

[1 ] The word Allah is the Arabic term for God. Although the use of the word "Allah" is most often associated with Islam, it is not used exclusively by Muslims; Arab Christians and Arabic-speaking Jews also use it to refer to the One God. The Arabic word expresses the unique characteristics of the One God more precisely than the English term. Whereas the word "Allah" has no plural form in Arabic, the English form does. Allah is the God worshipped by all Prophets, from Adam to Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad.

[2] SWT = Subhanahu wa Ta'ala [Glorified and Exalted Be He].

[3] SAWS= Salla Allah alayhe Wa Salam [All Prayers and Peace of Allah be upon him]
